Most hookah cubes are 25 mm. That extra millimetre on every side adds roughly 12% more charcoal per cube — more fuel, steadier heat, and fewer coal changes over a night.

What was waste becomes heat.

Shells left over from Kenya's coconut and macadamia harvests, bound with natural tapioca starch and turned into cubes in six steps.

01 Shell Coconut and macadamia shell, collected after harvest.
02 Carbonise Slow-fired with little oxygen until only carbon remains.
03 Crush Milled to a fine, even powder for a consistent burn.
04 · TAPIOCA Bind Mixed with tapioca starch, a plant-based binder from cassava root. Nothing synthetic.

Many cubes rely on industrial glues to hold their shape. Ours are bound with tapioca starch — a natural, plant-based binder that burns away cleanly and leaves your flavour untouched.

HOW TO LIGHT

Three steps to a good session.

01 · 0 MIN

Heat

Place cubes on an electric coil or gas burner. Turn every few minutes so each side catches.

02 · 8–10 MIN

Wait for the glow

Keep turning until every face glows orange under a thin grey skin. No black spots left.

03 · READY

Set & enjoy

Use tongs to place 2–3 cubes on your bowl or heat manager. Rotate as needed and settle in.
